FDA’s Chief Scientist Asks Science Board Subcommittee to Review Research on Bisphenol-A - FDA
A subcommittee of the FDA's Science Board will hold a public meeting to review an Agency Task Force Report on BPA. this is in follow up to an agency wide task force that has been created to further study the impact of BPA in Baby Bottles and other products.
Disposable water bottle alternatives - WFAA
Only 12% of disposable water bottles are recycled - the alternative, reusable bottles. Many water bottle manufactures, like Nalgene have started producing and marketing BPA free water bottles, some of these new bottles are plastic and some are made of aluminum.

Another retailer, Online Retailer Tickle tickle makes a commitment to provide BPA Free products for their consumers. This is great news, but we were not able to find any customer reviews (positive or negative) for tickle tickle.
Short article from Boston, debating the safety of BPA, perhaps the most interesting quote came from Dr. Steven Hentges, from the American Chemistry Council (most likely biased as his association represents chemical manufacturers)— "sensationalistic media attention.".... "These are not new materials. They have been used safely for 50 years," he insisted. "It's one of the most studied chemicals."

Health Canada Responds To Concerns Raised About Bisphenol A In Canned Food - Medical News Today
Health Canada was made aware of testing results published by media outlets related to BPA in canned foods, None of results showed dangerous levels. Basically a Canadian would need to consume several hundred cans of food a day, before even reaching a tolerable level. At that point they're going to have bigger issues.

A Study in the Netherlands found that when a Polycarbonate bottle is heated in the microwave, the levels of BPA leached into the milk, were below government limits.
